Swami Lushbeard’s – ‘The Truth’ Single Out Now!
The excellent band Swami Lushbeard are back! The Los Angeles rock band have released the magnificent single ‘The Truth’, in July 2020.
A gorgeous organ opens the release, and an acoustic guitar breaks through. We love the staggered and layered approach to the instrumentation entering, and the song evolves with the listener. Captivating vocals enter and take the lead. They are underpinned by a full band sound and a piano features heavily. There is poetry in the lyrics which are set to a backdrop of unpredictable chordal progressions.
Swami Lushbeard says about the release, “‘The Truth’ boldly puts humanity under the microscope, asking what it really takes to make a stand in a sincere effort for self-preservation, and just how far we’re willing to go in order to try to right the course of our history.” They continue, “On behalf of those that have struggled, on behalf of those that know they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place, on behalf of those that never stop believing in the possibility of real change ‘The Truth’ was created for you.
